Project 1/ Case Study & Campaign Proposal

Task 1
1A: Case Study

We are tasked to analyse a well-established Rebranding Campaign of our choosing.

  1. Identify its brand strategy — including the Brand Story, Objective & Purpose, Brand Values, Vision & Mission, Target Audience, and Brand Positioning.

  2. Understand its brand experience — focusing on features and activities.

  3. Review its key visuals and applications — examining the identity and usage across different platforms.


1B: Campaign Proposal

We are tasked to propose a Branding Campaign. The campaign will be for a brand of our choosing and may be conceptualised as either a rebranding exercise to introduce a new concept or a new product line launch.

The suggested proposal outline includes:

  • Campaign Description

  • Brand Story

  • Objective & Purpose

  • Brand Values

  • Vision & Mission

  • Target Audience

  • Organizers

  • SWOTs

  • Brand Positioning

Furthermore, we are tasked to identify the Brand Touch Points by producing a Customer Journey Map.

Project 2/ Design Brief Proposal

Task 2A: Ideation

We are tasked to continue researching application references based on the Brand Touch Points identified in the Campaign Proposal (1B). From there, we must select only the most relevant touch points—those that are unique and effectively represent the subject in every context—to build our Critical Application List. For each selected application, we will include a short description and consider how it contributes to elevating or achieving the overall Brand Campaign.


Task 2B: Design Direction

We are tasked to articulate the design direction by developing a set of mood boards or a stylescape that includes visual style, colour palettes, typography, graphic elements, and more. This will serve as the proposed look and feel of our Brand Campaign.

For the social media mockup, Melissa and I tried to edit some of the posts to fit the aesthetic of the Motoguo.

    3.0 Pop-up Event Mockup

I created a 3D model of the pop-up using SketchUp to provide a more convincing visual representation. I then captured a screenshot and enhanced it further in Photoshop.


    4.0 Video Campaign

For the video campaign, we decided to focus on the engagement activity from our concept — the “Best Dressed Challenge.” The video is styled as a fashion- and trend-focused piece, designed to both showcase the challenge and promote the campaign.

    5.0 Website Landing Page

We compiled all elements of the campaign and integrated them into a single landing page.
