FINAL REFLECTION:

Overall, this course has significantly deepened my understanding of design principles, particularly in the context of logo design. It provided a meaningful opportunity to explore my personal interests and curiosity within the field of graphic design through hands-on research. I found great value in engaging with existing studies and conducting my own surveys, which offered practical insights into how design functions in the industry. This process not only strengthened my academic foundation but also allowed me to connect theory with real-world application. Over the past 14 weeks, every stage of this project—from initial research to analysis—has contributed to my growth, both intellectually and creatively. It was a rewarding experience that expanded my perspective on visual communication and affirmed my long-standing passion for design.

One of the most interesting observations I’ve made throughout this research process is the importance of strong organizational skills. I realized that conducting effective research isn’t just about gathering information, but also about how that information is structured and presented. When sources, references, or citations are scattered and poorly arranged, it can lead to confusion and dilute the overall message of the research. In some cases, the core focus or argument may even become unclear or lost entirely. This experience has shown me that careful organization is not just a technical requirement, but a fundamental part of producing a clear, engaging, and impactful research paper. Properly managing the flow of ideas, structuring sections logically, and ensuring references are accurate and consistently cited all contribute to making the paper easier to read and understand. Overall, I’ve come to appreciate that organization and clarity are key components in making research both academically strong and accessible to readers.
